Teachers are there to inspire. Create. Germinate and grow the future. How the heck does having a gun on their desk cultivate a nurturing environment where 99.999% of kids who don’t wave a weapon around can move forward towards the American Dream? What you propose is a nightmare.
....If a potential “sicko shooter” knows that a school has a large number of very weapons talented teachers (and others) who will be instantly shooting, the sicko will NEVER attack that school. Cowards won’t go there...problem solved. Must be offensive, defense alone won’t work!

If teachers are armed, then won’t the shooters attack somewhere else? Maybe a library? Librarians are unarmed. What about cafés? Your plan is flawed, mad and senseless

They wouldn't be attacking them anymore than they are now; those places are already gun free zones so what's your point? Shooters don't target schools just because there are people there.
