    Aeromexico echoing the statement of the governor of Durango that there have been no fatalities.

    First statement from a survivor of Aeromexico Connect . The aircraft tried to reject take-off beyond V1 due to bad weather and failed to stop, crashing at the end of the runway and bursting into flames.

    It seems the Aéromexico ERJ-190 that crashed at Durango Airport lost both engines to the left of runway 03 before coming to rest 330 m past the paved end.

    Additional details on today’s from Aeromexico, including passenger demographics, and a reiteration that there were no fatalities.

    En el avión viajaban 88 pasajeros adultos, nueve menores de edad, dos infantes y cuatro integrantes de la tripulación, dos pilotos y dos sobrecargos, y hasta el momento no se reportan pérdidas humanas.

    The CEO of Aeromexico says that the Flight Data Recorder and the Cockpit Voice Recorder— colloquially known as the ‘Black boxes’—have been recovered from XA-GAL in good condition.
